Payment and prices
Prices are updated regularly and may change in future. The price of your order is calculated at the Checkout, including any charges for payment and delivery, as well as VAT (sales tax).
We offer the following means of payment:- Credit/debit card
- Invoice from Uppsala University,
to be paid within 30 days - for organisations/companies/institutions only.
Delivery
We offer the following means of delivery:
- Delivery within Sweden
Delivery by PostNord, max 2 kg: 113 SEK.
Goods in stock are normally dispatched within 5 working days of receipt of your order.
- Delivery outside Sweden
Delivery by PostNord, max 2 kg: 279 SEK.
Goods in stock are normally dispatched within 5 working days of receipt of your order.
- Delivery within Uppsala University
Goods are dispatched with the University’s internal post service, free of charge.
The terms and conditions for delivery are also listed on the Checkout page, under each delivery option. You will receive an email advising when your order has been dispatched.
If dispatch of your order is delayed, you will be advised by email. As a customer you always have the right to cancel the purchase in case of delayed delivery. We will do our utmost to deliver your order. However, there may be occasions when we are unable to do so, for example when our supplier or delivery agent cannot fulfil their undertakings towards us. We reserve the right not to offer any compensation to customers in relation to delayed delivery.
Exchange and return of goods
Our online shop offers 30 days free exchange or return of purchased goods.
If you wish to exchange or return goods, please email us on universityshop@uu.se so we can assist you. Goods for exchange or return should be sent securely wrapped, in their delivery packaging, accompanied by the original box and receipt. For exchanges of goods, the University Shop will pay the transport costs, we will provide a return label offering a discounted transport charge. For returns, the cost is covered by the customer.
If you have handled the purchased item to a greater degree than is necessary to determine its characteristics or function, and this has led to a reduction in value of the item, we are entitled to subtract a sum corresponding to this reduction in value from the amount to be repaid to you. Reduction in value will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
Repayment
If you use your right of return, we will reimburse what you have paid for the item as soon as possible, within no more than 30 days of our receipt of the returned item, with deduction for any transport costs.

Uncollected packages
We charge a fee for packages that are not collected from the delivery point, corresponding to the costs of delivery, return and handling. At present this fee is 200 SEK.
Complaints
If the goods are faulty or have been damaged in transit, please register a complaint at universityshop@uu.se within 5 days of receipt.
Personal data policy
When you place your order with us you need to provide certain personal data. By making your order you grant us permission to store and use your data in order to fulfil the terms of our agreement with you. In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of the EU, you are entitled to receive a copy of the information we hold on you. If it is inaccurate, incomplete or irrelevant you can demand that the information be corrected or removed. To do this please contact us by email at universityshop@uu.se
Force Majeure
The University Shop accepts no responsibility in cases of Force Majeure. This covers circumstances beyond the control of the University Shop, such as for example natural disasters, wars, terrorist attacks, government sanctions, strikes, embargos or similar events.
